Visitor Arrivals

In the year ending September 2008, there were 20,284 Taiwanese visitor arrivals, a 25.3 per cent decrease on the previous year. This number is expected to rise on average by 0.7 per cent annually between 2008 and 2014.

Total visitor arrivals from Taiwan have been declining for the past two years, with the year-on-year decrease especially noticeable between September and December. January, February and July are generally the highest months in terms of arrivals, with May and June being the quietest months. There were 25,695 visitor arrivals from Taiwan in 2007, down 7.7% from one year ago.
