We love the work that New Zealand charity, Trees That Count does to plant thousands of trees across Aotearoa each year. Native Trees create beautiful forests in communities across Aotearoa and helps remove CO2 from the atmosphere – it's a win-win. We’ve partnered with Trees That Count to make it easier for domestic and international visitors to show their love for Aotearoa by planting a native tree. Start planting
Tourism New Zealand is proud to have an established Mahi Tahi agreement with Te Taura Whiri i te Reo Māori(opens in new window) (The Māori Language Commission). This partnership helps supports our commitment to increase the use and status of te reo.
We work closely with the Department of Conservation(opens in new window) to ensure that tourism gives back to our home and people. By working together we can ensure that visitors enjoy and look after the natural beauty of Aotearoa. Read more here.
